Christina G.

Christina Gripshover (aka-Chrissy to her family) was raised on a farm in southern Kenton County. Being raised on a farm, she, her siblings, and cousin learned a good work ethic along with life lessons, such as don’t walk too close to the back of a horse and to watch out for the bulls. Christina graduated from Simon Kenton High School, not long after becoming a mom to her fabulous Matthew. She enjoyed being a ‘young mom” and was able to grow up with her son. In 2020 she moved off the family farm to start a life with her now husband, Chris. Chris and Christina (The Chris’s to her camp friends) enjoy living and loving life to the fullest. She is always up for an adventure whether it be traveling, camping, going on sxs rides, finding new breweries and new restaurants to try or just hanging out with her family and friends. When not doing any of those things, which is rare, she enjoys spending time with her now adult Matthew, step-children and grandkids, which is such a blessing. Christina started her career in dentistry in Grant County in 2001. She claims growing up in the dental chair made her realize a career in it would be cheaper for her dental needs in the future. Christina keeps our days full of jokes and fun! If you need a good laugh, hang around Christina for a bit, there will be laughs soon.

Tammy V.

Tammy Varner or ‘Tam Tam’ is a native to Grant county, she reminds us often that she is the only true ‘local’. She was born in 1966 and raised by Ruth and Goble Perkins. Tammy is the oldest child with one sister and one brother. Tammy graduated from Williamstown High School in 1984. Tammy married her husband Tony Varner in January 1984. They now have 3 wonderful and successful children and 4 loving grandchildren that call her ‘mammy’. Tammy's proudest accomplishments are her 38 year long marriage and her beautiful children and grandchildren. Tammy started her career as a dental assistant with Dr McMahon in 1987. When not working you can find Tammy rolfing with her husband, spending time with her family, or with her nose in a book.

Amy

Amy, or “Peach”, as her grandkids would call her, has lived in Grant County her whole life and was even born at the Grant County Hospital (Yes, they used to deliver babies). She graduated top of her class (of 27 students) from Williamstown High School. After graduation, Amy attended Northern Kentucky University before starting a career in dentistry in 1989. She has continued to further her dental knowledge by taking many continuing education courses over the last 30 years. Amy is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management and is constantly learning new ways to serve our patients! Amy is one of 4 kids, but the middle child (so obviously the best). She is a proud mother of two children who have BLESSED her with 5 beautiful grandSONS! If you can’t find Amy at the office, she’s most likely playing with the grandsons, hanging out with her cat, Miss Kitty, or finding a new place to explore.

Morgan

Morgan, or “Mo” as you may hear her family call her, has lived in Grant County her entire life. She graduated from Williamstown High School in 2018, from there she went on to pursue her dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist at Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lexington, Kentucky. Morgan is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and is proud to advocate for her profession. If you can’t find Morgan at the office, you’ll find her enjoying time with her niece, Kinzlee, hanging out with her dog, Gunny, or cheering on the University of Kentucky Wildcats. CATS BY 90! Morgan would not be where she is today without the support of her family who always motivate her to be better. She has been a lifelong patient of Dr McMahon’s and is excited to bring back all that she’s learned to her hometown. She hopes to see you in her chair SOON!

Sue

Sue, some call her mom, grandma, Wilma Sue, but here at the office we call her our right hand woman when it comes to checking our patients in. She is a woman full of ambition and passion to serve others. Her Eastern Kentucky roots have helped form her values and interests to help those in the community. Sue has been a resident of Grant County for over 50 years now. She made her journey to Grant County to begin her career in the food industry as a broker in the seventies. During her career she traveled to Germany and other parts of the world selling food products. After she retired she landed a job here at the office to continue her love for the community. Aside from checking patients in, Sue enjoys spending her time with her four beloved grandchildren. She will never pass out on an opportunity to watch a UK game, she is a basketball glue rule. She also enjoys long walks on the beach, and visiting her hometown London Kentucky. Sue is not only a grandma to her biological grandkids but also to us at the office. She takes good care of everyone and is always there when you need someone to talk to. We are very appreciative of her kind efforts and never ending love. You can't have Sue without a charming smile and welcoming attitude. It is our pleasure on behalf of Friendly Dental Co. to have Sue as a member of our team.

Sarah Jones, also known as “momma” to her kids, has lived in Grant County for almost 15 years. She is what most would call the exceptional “Dog Mom”. Sarah lives on a farm with 8 dogs. She is also the mom to two donkeys, a pig and many chickens. Sarah has 4 wonderful children. She previously worked as a dental assistant, but now holds the title of patient coordinator. If Sarah can’t be found, she’s likely playing with her dogs or watering her plants.
